Our Story

Our journey began with two tourists lost in the countryside of Vietnam who stumbled upon a treasure of a town rich in cultural diversity and untapped potential. While searching for a cup of sweet Vietnamese coffee and some conversation, two of our founders were welcomed into the home of locals who explained the beauties and challenges of their people. The people of A Luoi are a proud, hard working people, looking for a chance to prosper.

After deep research into the economic potential of A Luoi, our founders, James, David, and Jessica noticed a clear connection between a local need and a rapidly growing global market—gluten free products. With the global gluten-free market set to almost triple over the next ten years, and with the rise of consumer gut-health awareness, there is a massive opportunity to introduce gut-healthy, nutrient-dense gluten-free products.

A Luoi, with its naturally organic soil, has a history of cultivating dwarf Cavendish bananas. However, the competition in the Vietnamese banana market is steep and the locals have no access to international markets. Enter: New Garden Organics.

Our mission is to transform communities by empowering local farmers and helping to alleviate poverty through the ethical and sustainable production of green banana flour. We partner with local farmers to cultivate organic, naturally farmed bananas and transform them into powdery goodness that will satisfy your heart and gut.
